When "Grey's Anatomy has" made his triumph in the first half-season in 2005, it was much needed cure for my bad case of Bad-TV-itis, and a vigorous, dramatic, hilarious parallel to my real life. At the time, the TV-aholic was just a student who worked part time at the hospital and fantasized about some of the doctors who gave me more attractive, a humble clerk in medical records, more than a smile for the form. Of course, the men on the "Grey's Anatomy" are hotter than all the doctors in that hospital combined and the drama is juicier than a peach in Georgia.
My love affair with "Grey's Anatomy" has been turbulent over the years. I broke up with after the show graphically and needlessly killed my favorite character, Dr. George O'Malley (TR Knight actor expressed his concerns about his lack of airtime and asked to leave) in a bus accident disfiguring . But anyway, after Alex Izzie left in a lurch heartsick (another highly publicized exit from Emmy-winner Katherine Heigl), I checked back into Seattle Grace.
The seventh season of this drama medical soap debuted with a bang and went out with a groan. While I am grateful for surgeons and patients at Seattle Grace, after enduring the powerful shot and hospital horrible, there was no tragedy because of the tragedy, I found the endless carnage season was, at times, as exciting as the observation of a coma patient.
Here's where we parted: Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr. acting veteran) and Dr.Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) investigated allegations of Alex Meredith had falsified drug test for Alzheimer's disease monitored by her husband, Dr. Derek Shepherd, threatening the reputation of the hospital, her marriage, and two of their career with a loosening of an envelope.
