Travis Barker release 'Saturday Night' music video feat. Transplants, Slash
. He recently released a music video for a track off the album entitled, "Saturday Night," which features Transplants and Slash. The Estevan Oriol directed music video can be viewed by clicking here , or on the video the to left.The Latin-influenced musical styling for "Saturday Night" makes for a perfect relaxed feel, and the music video captures that musical styling. There is nothing flashy, or over the top for the video, and entails shots Skinhead Rob (Rob Aston) cruising through the city with his girl, the boys skating and riding bikes in an abandoned pool, and the band performing in a small room with no audience.
The simplistic music video is actually really attention grabbing, and something a fan could watch more than once. Despite the song being from Barker's solo album, he is barely featured in the music video. The main chunks of the music video involve Tim Armstrong, and Skinhead Rob, who both provide vocals for the track. Ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash also appears in the music video, but there are only shots of him playing the guitar during his solos.
For those that do not know who the Transplants are, it is a band consisting of Travis Barker, Tim Armstrong (of the bands Rancid and Operation Ivy), and Skinhead Rob (Expensive Taste). They released their last album back in 2005, but are slated to release another studio album in 2011. During a part in the music video, there is a shot of Skinhead Rob in a diner with his girl, and the camera zooms in on her hand, which has a tattoo of the Transplants logo on it ( view screenshot ).

Atlanta, Georgia metal act The Chariot has announced that it will be issuing a new vinyl pressing of its latest effort "Long Live." The reissue has been scheduled for an August 2, 2011 release through Good Fight Music and will feature a b-side track from the original "Long Live" sessions by the name of "Music Of A Grateful Heart." The new pressing include white vinyl with black splatters numbered 1 through 1000 available exclusively at "Hot Topic" stores while The Good Fight Music Online Store and all other retailers will feature a black vinyl with white splatters numbered 1001 through 2000.
